A free Queensland Mental Health Week Event

 This year’s focus is on planting, learning and relaxing in nature in celebration providing a positive impact of connecting to nature and earth for mental health.

 A family-friendly, inclusive event!

Where: End of Ross Rd, Deeral

 Bring: your family and friends! sun smart colorful gear, covered shoes, gloves, water bottle & a small hand shovel if you have one…the holes will already be dug for you!

Madjandji Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC would like to invite the whole of Babinda Community, and visitors to NAIDOC in Babinda. Alcohol and Drug Free Event.

There will be all different kinds of Activities including:

Stalls Cultural Activities Weaving Face Painting Performances

Kids Activities Music Bumma Bippera Media

Refreshments Available

.This year’s theme chosen by the National NAIDOC Committee, is Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud.

The theme honours the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations culture – with fire a symbol of connection to Country, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

“This year’s theme is a clarion call to continued unity and solidarity for all Australians to come together and celebrate.”
